Aruba’s Low-Rise Hotels and Resorts are located on Eagle Beach, Manchebo Beach (Punta Brabo) and Druif Beach. Aruba’s low-rise hotel area is popular with families, honeymooners and retirees. You will notice a difference in the demographics based on the time of year. For example, you’ll see more “snowbirds” (retirees) in January and February, and more spring breakers (not necessarily the crazy type) in March and April, and more families during the summer vacation months of Jun and July. Aruba’s low-rise hotel area is more relaxed than the high-rise hotel area. It is also closer to Oranjestad (downtown), which may be convenient if you spend much time there. There are also many Aruba time-share condos in the low-rise area.
